know that my actions may have caused you pain,
Or created doubt in the humanity of man in some way.
I was thoughtless and transgressed without so much as a second
thought,
I didn't care what my actions may have wrought.
You may have snapped or may have cursed at the next person you
met,
Or thought about causing another harm which is worse yet,
And for spreading this negativity into your life,
I humbly apologize, beg you to forgive me and try,
To allow this small token of my shame to replace,
The smile which I have stolen from you and God's good grace,
Please find it in your heart to be magnanimous enough to accept,
This apology, forgive me, for I shall try to abstain and repent.
